Research Interests


Sophie Schmidt received her Master's degree with a diachrone settlement analysis in middle Germany (Middle Neolithic to Early Iron Age). Her thesis focused on the possibilities of inter-site analyses on the level of features. Methodologically she uses GIS-applications and univariate statistics. She is also interested in the early ceramic groups in Europa, La Hoguette and Limburg and the process of neolithisation in Europe.
